Engel Pants - Walnut Mélange

Engel’s 70% Organic Virgin Merino Wool & 30% Silk pants are stunningly soft with a gentle high waistband. These are great worn as pants on their own, as well as making an excellent base layer. Wool is great as an inner layer because it helps to regulate the bodies temperature, it can absorb much more liquid than cotton, keeping your little one dry. Wool and silk is also perfect for sleeping in. These are very generous, if you have a small child size down.

All of Engel’s products are organic (GOTS certified) and produced in Germany. All the dyestuffs used are free from heavy metals and free from harmful AZO-dyes.

Care Instructions

Engel recommend that you wash their wool and wool/silk fabrics as little as possible. Wool regenerates in oxygen-rich air of its own accord and so it can also just be well-aired. Washing by hand is recommended or possibly machine washing if you trust your machine to keep the same wash and rinse temperature throughout. In any case, you should use a wool detergent because these do not contain any enzymes (protease) and are pH-neutral. This is essential for your washing machine’s wool programme. A gentle baby shampoo can sometimes be a good substitute when it comes to a quick hand-wash.

A size 50/56 means that it will fit babies with a head to feet length of 50 to 56 cm.
